Annual Pirith Chanting Ceremony, with the purpose of invoking blessings on officers of the Department of Prisons and their families as well as prison inmates was held successfully on 04/01/2020 at 6.00 P.M. onwards at the Prison Headquarters premises.

Prison Officers including the Commissioner General of Prisons and several prison inmates took part in the event.
